Largemouth Bass Fishing Extreme

The Largemouth Bass is a favorite adversary of fly fishermen. Bigmouth, as he is frequently called, is a true predator. He is known to eat other bass, eels, small ducks, frogs, and especially a flying insect that comes too close to the surface water.

The physical appearance of a largemouth is distinct, marked by a series of dark blotches that form a jagged horizontal stripe along each flank. The largemouth is the largest of the black basses. On average the largemouth bass lives an average of 16 years.
